Hello there!
This is an artwork i created for a life tutorial at the Blender Conference 2024.
The talk is about colours and lighting your scenes.

I had a lot of fun creating the initial composition and then working on the usual lovely greeble bits and of course a space ship.
The challenge was to create then the most common colour compositions based on this artwork, but i think i made it work good enough ;)
It was very interesting to figure out how to push the lights and materials to work towards the common colour composition goal, especially while you try to avoid certain colours/hues.
I can say i have learned quite a lot while doing these colour studies, can highly recommend :)

A summary of the iterations needed to get the colours for one of the compositions into a "good enough" state.
